SPS Law Group LLP has launched research for a national class action regarding Air Canada’s systemic failure to provide reasonable notice before the expiration and seizure of consumer funds stored in “AC Wallets” or held as Future Travel Credits.
The investigation also targets the “Midnight Trap,” where credits expire at 12:01 AM (often in an undisclosed time zone) on the date displayed to the consumer, resulting in a total loss of property hours before the consumer expects.
If you held an Air Canada Wallet balance or travel voucher that expired without a 30-day warning email, or if you were unable to use your credits on the day they were listed as valid, we would like to hear from you.
